It might be possible someday down the line with a lot of hard work but with the fact it's not even supported anymore, I doubt it would really make much difference to the standard user. Now for a decent browser. As far as I can remember, you have to use one or the other. So for him it would be practical but for us, there's Firefox, Pale Moon, Chrome, Iron, Safari, and a bunch of other ones that would work.
